Ce que nous recherchons
De 2008 à 2017, le projet de recherche ACTwatch, dirigé par le PSI, a constitué la source la plus fiable de données représentatives du marché national sur les produits antipaludiques et de diagnostic dans 12 pays d'Afrique subsaharienne et de la sous-région du Grand Mékong. Les enquêtes nationales sur les débouchés des produits antipaludiques ont permis de recueillir des informations sur la disponibilité, le prix et la part de marché des produits antipaludiques et des TDR. Soutenu par la Fondation Bill et Melinda Gates, PSI met à jour son modèle ACTwatch pour collecter de nouvelles données sur le marché du secteur privé. ACTwatch Lite, qui a débuté fin 2022, s'appuie sur un écosystème numérique pour réduire les délais de travail sur le terrain et minimiser l'écart entre la fin du travail sur le terrain et la disponibilité des résultats de l'étude. Les résultats actualisés éclaireront la prise de décision nationale et infranationale et serviront de base à la définition et au suivi des interventions du secteur privé dans le domaine du paludisme.
Nous recherchons un chercheur expérimenté pour soutenir le projet ACTwatch Lite. Ce rôle consistera à superviser une équipe de collecteurs de données dans le cadre d'un projet d'étude de marché vaste et complexe sur le paludisme. Le consultant assistera et codirigera la formation des agents de terrain, puis supervisera une équipe d'agents de terrain pour tester les études et la collecte de données dans une région du Cameroun.
Vos contributions
Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe centrale d'ACTwatch Lite de PSI, sous la supervision du conseiller principal en recherche du département Malaria & WASH, ainsi qu'avec nos collègues de l'ACMS (Association camerounaise pour le marketing social).

Le candidat retenu fera l'objet d'un contrat à quantité indéterminée (CQI) pour une période pouvant aller jusqu'à 42 jours.
